Q. What is the process for obtaining patent drawings?
A. Using our service is simple. All you need to do is send the input material and we will send you the completed drawings either by email or FTP upload.
Q. What source material is required for obtaining patent drawings?
A. We prepare patent drawings from informal drawings, sketches, photographs or other relevant matter.
Q. What is the usual turnaround time for a job?
A. The usual turnaround time is 5-7 Business days. If drawings are required sooner, we can do rush cases as well.
Q. How do you ensure data security and confidentiality of Patent Information?
A. We understand the information sought to be patented, including patent drawings and invention details / disclosure, is highly sensitive. Q. What software do you use to prepare the drawings?
A. We use several programs including Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. Patent illustrations are delivered in Adobe Illustrator (AI) and Adobe Acrobat Reader (PDF) format. It can also be delivered in other formats such as TIFF, JPEG and BMP. Drawings are prepared in strict accordance with USPTO and other PTO guidelines. Q. Who does the drawings?
A. We have a team of qualified people for drafting. They have certifications in Multimedia and drafting packages like Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop and Corel Draw. This drafting team is also supported by a technical team with domain expertise in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, Biotechnology, Chemistry who provide inputs and review the work continuously.

A. We are very competitive when it comes to cost. The cost would depend on the effort which in turn depends on nature and complexity of the drawings. Please send details on the nature of drawings and complexity and we can revert to you with specific cost information.
